The Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon ("FFUL") is a renowned teaching and research institution in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Of particular note in this Agenda is the Medicines Research Institute ("iMed.ULisboa"), as a multidisciplinary R&D unit in the area of Life and Health Sciences integrated into FFUL and supported by the Foundation for Science and Technology. FFUL promotes professional training, technological development and entrepreneurship, provides services to the community, applying the translational nature of the research it carries out in partnerships with companies, health institutions and regulatory agencies. The scientific and knowledge transfer expertise of the research team assigned to the Agenda is evident in the development and characterisation of numerous products (medicines, plant protection products and others), transferring fundamental knowledge to industry. FFUL will therefore make an important scientific contribution to the Agenda in terms of developing new formulations for crop protection, with the aim of effectively transferring knowledge and valorising the results obtained, providing higher levels of competitiveness and sustainability.
