Nutrifarms, S.A.

Nutrifarms, S.A. ("Nutrifarms") belongs to Sovena, a family group with over 100 years of experience focused on sustainable food solutions and one of the largest olive oil packers and distributors in the world. Today, it manages more than 7,000 hectares of olive groves on more than 43 estates and 2 olive oil mills in Portugal and Morocco, aiming for high quality production with great respect for natural resources and good integration with the surrounding territories and people. In fact, Nutrifarms stands out for continually studying and testing new techniques and production systems to improve the quality of its products and efficiency in the use of resources, relying on a team that is experienced in innovation and highly specialised in the various areas of its activity. The preservation of natural resources, especially water, soil and biodiversity, is the focus of its commitment to sustainability. Nutrifarms will therefore be involved in the Consortium as a supplier of by-products, as well as carrying out field trials and demonstrating the new innovative solutions to be developed by the industrial and technological partners on plots of their farms.
